Prof. Ismail Abdusalam Alkskas
Misurata University, Libya

Dr. Ismail Alkskas earned his PhD in Organic Polymers from Egypt’s Assiut University in 2003. After earning his PhD, Dr. Alkskas returned to Misurata, where he joined the Faculty of Pharmacy’s teaching staff. He currently serves as the Dean of Misurata University’s Faculty of Pharmacy. He held this position from 2014 to 2016 and again from 2017 to 2020. Dr. Alkskas has supervised the research of 12 Master of Science students since 2005. He additionally teaches Organic Chemistry to first year pharmacy students, Physical Pharmacy to first and second year pharmacy students, and Polymer Chemistry to post graduate students. He continues to conduct organic polymer research at the University of Misurata. He additionally serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Molecular Structure; the Journal of Macromolecular Science; the International Research Journal of Pure and Applied Chemistry; the Iranian Journal of Polymer Science; and the Journal of Macromolecular Science, Part A: Pure and Applied Chemistry. Dr. Alkskas also serves on the editorial board of Research and Application of Materials Science of Viser Technology Pte. Ltd. Dr. Alkskas has over 30 publications in well renowned scientific journals.
